Studio K: History, Purpose, Vision
Studio K is a lifelong dream realized for owner and director, Kate Lenaway. From her elementary school days, dreaming of dancing on Broadway and directed her Barbie Dolls in Recitals and Musical Productions to Choreographing for college dance programs, Miss Kate has always loved the process of creating moving art.
The Basics ❊
Miss Kate
I’m born and raised in Kane, PA and graduated rom Kane HS in 2003. I then went to Allegheny College where I studied theatre, was on the dance team and was the VP of our dance company, Orchesis. I moved home and opened Studio K in August, 2005 after my hometown dance studio closed its Kane location. I decided to jump in with both feet in Kane and 15 years later, I opened a second location in Ridgway in July, 2020. I have been dancing since the age of 4. I live in a little house with her fiancé, Mr. Adam, he 16 year old daughter, Rory and her 14 year old son, Trace. She has 2 tiny puppies, Winnie and Daisy.
